CAFI offers adoption counseling to assist people in finding a dog that matches their lifestyle and preferred traits. CAFI understands it can be a daunting task to begin a search for a new canine family member. Matching the 'right dog' with the 'right family' results in a happy dog in a loving family. CAFI works with you to identify key traits for which you are looking as well as gather information on your family's lifestyle and environment. We then identify dogs from shelters and rescues that closely match these requirements for consideration by the potential adoptive family. CAFI will assist the family through the adoption process with CAFI, another rescue or shelter in which the selected dog was located. It is our intentions to decrease the number of dogs at shelters due to unsuccessful adoptions by helping families select the dog that best suits their lifestyle and desires.
